Car Parks in both residential and commercial buildings often require maintenance and repair. Waterproofing issues can arise which usually require managing. The following information is designed for practical advice in two situations:
GARAGE FLOOR
Concrete dust and stains will be minimised if the surface is treated in both residential and commercial situations. Aesthetic choices determine the choice of product between sealers or epoxy coatings. The important consideration is the level of vehicle traffic and UV exposure. In commercial scenarios the floor may require waterproofing to protect the level below. Liquid applied membranes with reinforcing are ideal.

CEILING REPAIR
Addressing water leaking through concrete ceilings occurs consistently in commercial and Body Corporate car parks. Usually the only way of practically addressing the problem is from the ‘negative side’. This means the treatment may not completely fix all problems, it is better to manage the water. The two popular treatments are first to treat with crystalline growth compound, then install drip trays. The second, far more expensive exercise, is injection treatment.
